Electricity bill name change

Documents needed:

Concession can be availed for one of the following 3 categories:
  1. Notarized true copy of the agreement with the builder or sale deed with previous owner
  2. Relevant MSEDCL forms signed by current owner and previous owner along with required affidavits.
  3. Photocopy of latest paid electricity bill receipt (refer procedure to pay electricity bill)

  4. Photocopy of latest property tax bill showing current owner's name
  5. Society NOC (only required if flat belongs to society premises)

Time taken for name change

Usually takes 1-2 months (as per billing cycle) for the name change to take effect on the bill.
